About the Play
On returning from holiday in Malta the cozy domesticity of partners Bob and Jeff is thrown into chaos. Jeff spent too much time with Terri for Bob’s liking – and what happened between them on Gozo? Can Bob’s family rescue the situation? Vera, Bobs mother, spends most of her time trying to run her children’s life, including Bob, seemingly oblivious to the fact that her son is in a relationship with Jeff.
Nona, Bob’s sister, is miserable because her husband Arthur has run off with Brenda. This changes once Arthur returns. Nona welcomes him back, but Vera is not so forgiving. This leaves it up to Lois to try and solve the situation while her husband, Bill, is happy with the paper trying to keep out of the family arguments.
