Productions
Our season runs from September to September. We usually put on three productions each season, with a good variety of themes and styles. We have performed musicals, drama, one-act shows, Shakespeare, original works and much more.
We are always on the lookout for new ideas for productions. Please contact us if you have a production you would like to see performed in the future and, in particular, if you are interested in directing! More information about becoming a director can be found under the Direct A Play tab.
Play Readings
We frequently arrange play readings, free for members and non-members alike. These are held at different locations in Amsterdam. Over the years we have read many plays, some of which we have gone on to become productions.
If you have a play you would like to read with other theatre lovers, please contact us and we can arrange it for you.
Workshops
We organise several workshops per season for our members (see InPlayers Membership for different options), to encourage the community of acting, singing and theatre. These workshops are provided by our skilled members and/or outside experts.
If you would like to teach a workshop for us, or have ideas about workshops you’d like to join, we would be delighted! Please contact us and we will discuss what is possible.
FEATS & Other Productions
As well as our regular productions, play readings, workshops and events, we also often participate in the annual FEATS (Festival of European Anglophile Theatrical Societies) festival. We usually choose a production that we have previously presented and we travel to the venue together, for a weekend of theatre and culture. Occasionally we have a Main Stage production and occasionally we perform at the Fringe part of the festival.
We have also support members in individual projects, giving our members the chance to take part in activities such as being in a film.
