Welcome to Murder in the Studio
We thank you for joining us tonight in a world of intrigue, suspense, classic wit, and sound effects. We are very proud of the crew that worked very hard to make Murder in the Studio a unique, immersive theatrical experience. Each of us have directed one of the three thrilling one-act plays by Agatha Christie, and given them our own interpretations and flavours. And we would like to give a huge thanks to casts for their dedication and enthusiasm!

The directors Sam Aronson, Brian Ligthart & Sherilyn Caudle
Sam Aronson director of Personal Call
Sam moved to Amsterdam in 2022 and has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of InPlayers, both on the stage and as part of production. He is very grateful to the InPlayers committee for providing him the opportunity to direct for his first time. When not acting, Sam likes to write short fiction and to test the limits of his 3D printer. You can see some of his quirkily optimistic work @glasshalffullofwhat.
Brian Ligthart director of Yellow Iris
Brian has been active in film, television, commercials, and theatre since 2013. On stage, he performed in productions such as Allo Allo, The Odd Couple, and It’s a Wonderful Life. He also directed and co-directed several plays. Outside of acting, he works behind the scenes in film in the sound department. He’s thrilled to have been part of this production as a director and doing sound.
Sherilyn Caudle director of Butter in a Lordly Dish
Sherilyn has spent many years in the theatre, performing in plays and musicals worldwide. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Texas Tech University in 2013. This is her largest directing project to date, and she is thrilled to have worked on a play by the famed Agatha Christie. She wishes to extend her gratitude to her amazing stage manager Anne-Marie, her supportive friends and family, and especially her partner, Steve.

Alexandra Sokolowski as Francine Lommerson (Podcast Host) voicing Fay, Mary Curtis, Station Announcer & Lucy
Alexandra started acting at university in Germany in the early 2000s. She’s performed with English-speaking groups including ESOC Theatre, FEST Frankfurt, InPlayers, and Downstage Left. She also directed last year’s The Day They Kidnapped the Pope with the InPlayers. Her favourite roles include the mischievous Elvira in Blithe Spirit and the scheming secretary in The Way of All Fish.
Alice Hamberger as Marcy Copperscott (Podcast Technician & Foley Artist) voicing Operator, Traveler 1 & Traveler 2
Alice has been doing theatre and musicals since they can remember. They started improv 6 years ago. Other creative projects in the making. Feel free to reach out.
Deeksha Bhaskar as Lea Swank voicing Pam Brent
Deeksha is thrilled to return to the acting world with this production. She has over 12 years of experience, primarily in television, with additional work in radio and commercials, before relocating to the Netherlands. Alongside her acting, she works in the corporate sector and enjoys practicing yoga in her free time.
Diego Best as Stan Mars voicing Evan Curtis, First Porter & George
Diego truly realized his passion for acting during lockdown and has since been on stage as close to continuously as he's been able to manage. Rf you're reading this, you've probably seen him either on stage, or in the audience for something. He thinks it's a little creepy that you recognize him, but still appreciates it deeply. He loves you and hopes you're doing well.
Jeremy Keighley as Ludvig Smith voicing Mr. Enderby, Inspector Narracott, Johnnie, Philip & Station Announcer
Jeremy is from Derbyshire, where he made his acting debut at the age of seven playing the title role in Humpty Dumpty. He has worked backstage and has acted in England, Vienna and Amsterdam. His debut with InPlayers was a long time ago. He more recently appeared in Suspicions Noir, Under Milk Wood, Anxiety and Broken Love and Wyrd Sisters. He is also a writer of poems, short plays and short stories.
Sergio Borges as Gary Victor voicing James Brent
Sergio is a professional actor and voice artist originally from Brazil. His passion for the stage has led him to take on lead roles like Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew. He is thrilled to be performing with InPlayers.
Zeynep Akdogan as Emma de Witt voicing Mrs. Lamb, David & Second Porter
Zeynep started acting when she was a child thanks to her parents’ encouragement. Since then, she has been acting in small productions. This is her Amsterdam English theatre acting debut. Most recently, she acted in and was involved with a theatre of the oppressed project at the University of Amsterdam. Besides theatre, she dabbles in writing fiction, poetry and essays, in graphic design, and in political science and communication.

Adam Thomas as Guy Stevens voicing Stephen Carter & Cloakroom Attendant
Adam began his acting journey in 2025. After completing his debut production, he now prepares for his second play. Adam looks forward to exploring new roles in his career.
David Fisher as Simon Levy (Podcast Host) voicing Barton Russell
David is a Texas-born Amsterdammer. Since premiering in his first starring role as Baby Jesus, David acted in numerous productions of the Victoria Community Theater. He played the titular role in the Broccoli Project's 2011 production of Caligula at the University of Texas. He is also a lawyer.
Eoghan Kelleher as Johnny Valant voicing Hercule Poirot
Eoghan is delighted to be back on stage with InPlayers. He has previously acted in their productions of Café Noir and It's a Wonderful Life.
Marryl Smith as Nadya Brown voicing Pauline Weatherby
Originally from Canada, Marryl has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from the University of Toronto, and considers performing to be her first love. She moved to Amsterdam with her partner this past March, and is thrilled to have quickly found an English theatre community with InPlayers. She is thankful to her fiancé Sean for his constant support, and to her parents for flying all the way from Canada for this show.
Martina Del Chiaro as Jackie Herin voicing Lola Valdez
Martina is an Amsterdam-based actress with 5 years experience in theatre and film. She graduated from Mulholland Academy in 2022, with a focus on Meisner and Strasberg techniques. Her stage credits include Chances in the Rain and several contemporary plays. With a background in ballet and modern dance, Martina brings strong physicality and emotional depth to her performances.
Omar Elshershaby as Cameron Bretagne voicing Anthony Chappell
Omar is an Dutch/Egyptian actor with some years of experience in theater and camera acting in English, Arabic and Dutch. In recent years has acted in The Surprise Guest with InPlayers and Playhouse and The Odd Couple with Playhouse, as well as other projects. He is excited to be part of the cast of Yellow Iris and have fun putting the character on stage.
Roy Schinning as Sylvan Nanjev (Podcast Editor & Foley Artist) voicing Luigi the Waiter & Compère
Roy may be a newbie to scripted theatre, but he’s no stranger to performing in front of an audience. After years of guiding workshops and creative sessions, he found his passion in improv theatre. He enjoys the thrill of playing without a script and connecting through stories and humour. For Roy, theatre is the perfect mix of creativity, presence, and a touch of the unexpected.
Sean Olson-Roy as Taylor Schonberg voicing Inga Anderson & as Nathan Flowers (Foley Artist in Butter in a Lordly Dish)
Sean is an actor, singer, father of two, husband of one, and servant to two adorable chihuahuas. When not onstage, he can be found standing in line to get his “statiegeld” back.

Alcina Summers as Sally Cortez (Podcast Producer) voicing Florrie Petter & Voice 2
Alcina Summers is a bilingual Dutch actor, singer, and voice-over artist with a passion for storytelling across stage and sound. She has appeared in musical theatre and audio drama, bringing versatility to both comedic and dramatic roles. Alcina is thrilled to dive into the intrigue of this classic mystery. She looks forward to sharing the suspense — with a touch of humor — with the audience.
Bjorn Hubert-Wallander as Ive Carlson voicing Sir Luke Enderby K.C.
Bjorn last appeared on stage twenty years ago, tap-dancing and singing tenor in a high school musical. After a very long intermission, an acting class lured him back, and somehow landed him in this role. He’s still trying to figure out how that happened, but he’s thrilled and grateful to work with this lovely cast and crew!
Cheryl Hart as Wilma Tilly (Podcast Host) voicing Lady Marion Enderby & Voice 3
Cheryl is an English dancer, singer, and actress who has performed and choreographed at the London Palladium. In the Netherlands, she has appeared in Cinderella, Once Upon a Mattress, A Chorus Line, and Richelle II. As a diva mama herself, she is delighted to play a sassy Lady in this production. Offstage, Cheryl is a digital analyst and a theatre photographer.
Kati Schulze as Elsa Hoverton voicing Julia Keene
Kati is a passionate theater performer. She's been part of the Amsterdam amateur musical theater scene since 2020. This is her first show with the InPlayers and she's very excited to have joined Murder in the Studio!
Maria Charles as Louise Alpha voicing Mrs. Petter, Voice 1 & Hayward
Maria was bitten by the theatrical bug in Primary School when she portrayed Thisbe. And thus began an enduring love for the brilliant bard and treading the boards. Over the years she's portrayed many characters, with an ever increasing penchant for comic relief. From Mrs Swabb the housekeeper to Mrs Troggs the cleaning lady to Mrs Petter who runs a boarding house and Hayward the butler ... the irony of an excess of roles as household staff is not lost on her mother!
Rosan Tan as Naomi Stanford voicing Susan Warren & Porter
Rosan has experience in improv comedy and storytelling. She has performed in off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway dance theatre productions with Kinding Sindaw, a traditional Filipino dance troupe based in New York City. In the past year, she has acted in two plays with Acting Club Netherlands. This is Rosan’s first InPlayers production.
