Rehearsals will be held at the same location as the auditions.
 
Rehearsals will be held on Thursdays from 19:00 – 22:00 and Saturdays from 11:00 – 16:30 with breaks during school holidays and the week of FEATS.
 
First rehearsal is on 13 January, 2018.
 
Production week is 16 July – 22, 2018.
 
Performances are:
Wednesday/Dress Rehearsal with Preview Audience/18 July
Thursday/Opening Night/19 July @ 20:00
Friday/20 July @ 20:00
Saturday/ 21 July @ 14:00 & 20:00
Sunday/ 22 July @ 14:00
 
You must pre-book a 10 minute audition time via email at allegro.inplayers@gmail.com
 
Give a range of several options of availability in case what you want is already taken.
 
Your ten minute time-slot will be confirmed via email.
 
Please be early so as not to forfeit your time-slot.
 
If you audition on the 9th you will get a call back notice via email within 1 or 2 days.
 
If you audition on the 16th, you will be told a few minutes after your singing audition if you will be called back to read later that day.
 
Callbacks will be cold readings so that no one has an advantage.  Time will be given to read over the material.
 
 – Both women and men will have the opportunity to choose one of two solo pieces to sing from the show.  One is for a lower voice the other for a higher.
 – Everyone will be required to sing a small piece of one of the ensemble numbers as well.
 – You will also be asked to sing a few warm up triads to determine your range.
 
A recording of those songs as well as the sheet-music will be emailed to you with your confirmation of audition time-slot.
 
The sooner you request auditions slots the more time you will have to prepare.
