InPlayers organise informal and free play readings regularly for its members and non-members. It’s the perfect to way to socialise with like-minded-theatre-loving people!

On Tuesday, May 28, from 18:30, we will get together to read Loving, Wendy; A play in Two Acts, by Kathryn Zaniboni.

Kathryn Zaniboni is originally from the US and moved to Amsterdam in 2008. Her one-act plays have been produced in Boston and New York and most recently in Amsterdam at Campfire #2 by Downstage Left. Her first full-length play, Loving, Wendy, has just been selected by the Valley Players in Napa, CA for their summer staged-reading series. She’s thrilled to have a local table reading of the latest draft by the InPlayers community to help develop the piece further.

Play Synopsis:

When two siblings discover a box of letters after the passing of their elderly parents, a suspicious relationship between their mother and an unlikely friend is revealed that starts a quest to find out who she really was and prompts them to ask who they want to be.
