Play Reading: Wyrd Sisters

InPlayers organise informal and free play readings regularly for its members and non-members. It’s the perfect to way to socialise with like-minded-theatre-loving people!

On Thursday, June 13th, from 18:30, we will read the following play together.

Wyrd Sisters, by Stephen Briggs and Terry Pratchett, is a play that takes Shakespeare’s Macbeth and turns it up ’till the knob comes off. It’s all there; a wicked duke and duchess, the ghost of the murdered king, dim soldiers, strolling players, a land in peril. Who stand between the Kingdom and destruction? Three witches: Granny Weatherwax (intolerant, self-opinionated, powerful), Nanny Ogg (down-to-earth, vulgar) and Magrat Garlick (naïve, fond of occult jewellery and bunnies).

Location: To be announced, Amsterdam

The play reading will be hosted by Ángela and Rae.
