Here’s how it works

Join us for Speak Easy: Monologue Karaoke in one of Amsterdam’s cosiest, most atmospheric rooms inside House of Watt.

We’ve gathered an eclectic mix of monologues — comic, tragic, absurd, romantic, villainous, heroic, ridiculous. Participants draw a monologue at random from a bowl, take a few minutes to look it over, and then perform it — no matter the character, age, gender, or style.

You might be a brooding gothic heroine, a mad king, a naïve optimist, a melodramatic villain, a lovesick poet — or something completely unexpected.

📃 Script in hand.

🧐 No memorising required.

🃏 Just maximum play.

🎭 Come perform. Come watch. Come stir the pot.

Flow of the Event

• ~18:00 Doors open / arrival / drinks

• ~18:30 Welcome & explanation of the game

• ~18:45 First round of Monologue Karaoke

• ~19:45 Short break

• ~20:00 Second round

• ~21:00 Open round / bonus draws

• ~22:00 Social time / free play / continued performances

• ~23:00 Wrap
