About Agatha Christie

Born in Torquay, England in 1890, Agatha Christie is the best-selling novelist of all time. With over one billion books sold in English and another billion in over 100 languages, she is outsold only by the Bible and Shakespeare. She wrote 80 crime novels and collections of short stories, over 25 plays (including The Mousetrap, the world’s longest running play), and six novels under the pseudonym Mary Westmacott.

Her first novel, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, introduced the world to the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, followed a decade later by the shrewd and often-underestimated Miss Marple. Visit www.agathachristie.com for more information.

About the Radio Plays

Personal Call by Agatha Christie is directed by Sam Aronson. This mysterious story explores the supernatural. James Brent is plagued by his past, through mysterious phone calls from a lady called Fay.

Yellow Iris by Agatha Christie is directed by Brian Ligthart. This story features the famous Hercule Poirot. A distraught woman's frantic phone call leads Poirot to a restaurant, where a man is celebrating the anniversary of his wife's suspicious death.

Butter in a Lordly Dish by Agatha Christie is directed by Sherilyn Caudle. This tense story contains one of Christie's most gruesome murders. Barrister Sir Luke Enderby, who prosecuted a serial killer in the past, finds his life threatened when the case resurfaces.
