Happily Ever After Productions will perform ''Shrek The Musical'', by Jeanine Tesori and David Lindsay-Abaire, from Thu. Feb. 20 till Sat. Mar. 01 in Het Amsterdams Theaterhuis.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, “Shrek the Musical” is a hilarious, heartwarming fairy tale adventure that turns the traditional happily-ever-after on its head. When a grumpy ogre named Shrek sets out to reclaim the deed to his swamp, he’s unexpectedly swept into a quest to rescue the fiery Princess Fiona—with a talkative Donkey, a villainous Lord Farquaad, and a host of familiar fairytale misfits along the way. Featuring a lively score, witty humor, and a big-hearted message about love, acceptance, and embracing what makes us unique, “Shrek the Musical” is a fun-filled show for the whole family.
